On this campus we have the following mobility services:

Non-motorized vehicles are not permitted inside campus facilities (bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, and similar vehicles).

The Mobility Office is located on Level 0 of the Student Center, next to TecMed.

TEC PARKING

Tec provides its community with an efficient and secure parking system for vehicles on campus. We have a total of 1,459 parking spaces available for students, faculty and staff, and visitors.

You must use your ID card at the entrances. Prepa Tec students must have a parking sticker (see the Carpool section for more details).

The parking service is free for all users. To access the parking facilities, simply use your physical ID card or Digital ID through the miTec app.

The service hours are:

Service hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Parking Regulations

CHARGING STATIONS

As part of our sustainability plan, the parking facility has charging stations equipped with connectors compatible with different types of electric vehicles.

The chargers are located on Level 1 of the covered parking facility, and a fee applies for their use (described below).

You must reserve a charging station and remove your vehicle when your scheduled period ends. Failure to do so may result in penalties.

This service is only available to students enrolled in the current academic period, as well as active faculty and staff. External personnel and EXATECs may not use the charging stations.

TRANSPORTATION

To support the mobility needs of the Tec community, we offer a safe and efficient transportation service. There are currently 28 routes available.

The service has a cost based on the type of trip. For more details, see the “Cost” section. Payment is made through the Movilidad Tec app, available on iOS and Android devices.

The transportation platforms are located on Level 0 of the Student Center. Vehicles enter and leave campus through Access 4.

Remember

Scholastico transportation is a recommended transportation provider for the Tec community. The service is contracted directly with Scholastico.

CARPOOL TEC

This is a convenient and sustainable option for members of the community who wish to share a ride with others.

The campus has 60 Carpool spaces, located on Level 4 of the covered parking facility.

Use of this service is free. A minimum of 3 people must be inside the vehicle to use the available Carpool spaces.

The only exception applies to Prepa Tec students in their 5th and 6th semesters. They must register at the beginning of the semester to receive a parking sticker, which must be returned to the ProTect office at the end of the semester. They must also meet the requirement of having at least three people inside the vehicle to use the Carpool spaces.

Prepa Tec students below the 4th semester may not use the parking facilities or Carpool.
